Cheat Sheet for VS. Note: “Monday” Actually Starts Sunday evening for most US players. These days refer to “midnight” server time.
Some tips:
Day 1
Tip 1: You get points for mining resources. Which means you can START mining resources the day before (sunday) as long as the gathering time ends after Day 1 Reset (midnight server time) then you get the points for everything you’ve gathered in that amount of time prior to the day starting. So Sunday afternoon about 6 hours before reset, start mining high level fields to end after 6 hours and you’ll have a head start on points.
Tip 2: You get points for doing Radar Tasks which means the day before, don’t complete any radar tasks and let them add up so you can do all of them after reset. (To “Complete” a Radar Task means pushing the red dot on the task after you’ve Performed the Task). In your Radar Task screen, top right shows how many Radar Tasks you have pending. Keep this number “max minus one” which means if you can do 35 radar tasks, keep it at 34 tasks. In the photo below, the red arrow shows 40 maximum tasks, and I currently have it at 39 pending tasks which is “max minus one”.
The Green Arrow shows time until the next tasks will appear, adding to the pending tasks. It gives you tasks every 6 hours. If you let the max pending reach the limit, then the timer stops and you have to wait a full 6 hours after completing some tasks. If you leave the pending tasks at 39 instead of 40 then the timer still runs and you can get radar tasks sooner after reset than waiting the full 6 hours.
Tip 3: You get points for hero XP however, Day 1 victory is only worth 1 point but on Day 4 (hero day) the victory is worth 2 points. So only use XP if you have no other way of opening your chests. And only use hero XP when it lets you open your Arms Race chests.
Tip 4: You can buy Chip Chests in the Campaign Store. If you’re not doing the Campaign Challenges every few days, you’re missing out on free stuff! More info on Campaign Challenges coming soon.
Day 2 & Day 6
Tip 1: Be sure to send your daily Trucks, but before you send, Refresh each truck by clicking the Dice repeatedly until the truck becomes UR rarity.
Tip 2: Send your Secret Mobile Squad secret tasks, but only send the UR Rarity Tasks. After you send your UR Tasks, push Refresh at the bottom of the screen until you see more UR Tasks appear. Send those new UR tasks and click Refresh again until more pop up. Keep doing this until all tasks that you’ve sent out for the day are UR Rarity. If you run out of Refresh tickets, it costs 100 diamonds to keep Refreshing, but it’s worth it, not just for the points but the loot you get from the UR tasks more than makes up for the cost of the diamonds. So much so that I would recommend doing UR tasks every day, but if nothing else, do it on Day 2 and Day 6.
Day 2 & Day 5
Tip 1: You get points for completing a Building Construction. But theoretically you’re building stuff constantly every day. So practice “not opening the present” until Day 2 or Day 5. The rest of the week keep building but don’t open the presents! Then when the correct VS day comes open them all at once.
